The Miracle of Princess Sarah’s Adoption

Born premature and left by her birth mother at the hospital, Sarah had a quite rough start. But that didn’t stop her from having an adventurous spirit. While being cared for at Concordia Sarah was given all the love and care that she needed. Our resident nurse became her temporary mother and she developed strong bonds, almost like sisters to two other children living in Concordia with her.

All those efforts have enriched Sarah’s kindred spirit and her playful personality. She became an integral part of the CCS family. No one would be able to tell that as early as seven (7) months, Sarah faced many trials like a disrupted adoption process. But as they say, God has a purpose for everything, and all the hardships she faced, were overshadowed when she was matched to the Clay family. The family’s first meeting with Sarah was an instant match; as if she was destined to be the princess of the Clay family.

Sarah’s entrustment ceremony was held August 23, 2019. It was a bittersweet event as the CCS family said their final goodbyes to their beloved child, but at the same time knew that she’ll be leaving with the family she deserves. It was a good farewell, a tearful one, but also one of rejoicing.
