The Receiving Home (RH) Program of Concordia Children’s Services is a center that provides temporary shelter for the abandoned, neglected, orphaned, and surrendered children. The circumstances of these children (ages 0-7) make them need a critical amount of love and care. CCS also sees the provision of their basic and special needs as paramount.

Sponsoring a child in this Program helps CCS meet these needs while the children are waiting for placement to their permanent loving families.

CCS will inform you of the name and age of your sponsored child/children and will update you on his/her progress. We will also provide you with a Picture and Brief Profile of the child/children, Mid-year Progress Report (June to October), Annual Progress Report (November to May), if applicable, a copy of the child/children’s report card and a personalized Thank You letter from the child/children you sponsor. However, the information given should be treated with strict confidentiality and should not be shared without the approval of CCS. Further, contacting the child/children should be done through CCS approved media.
